    • Nov. 9th, Research Question developed & submitted (Assessments 10 pts)

    • Nov. 24th: Annotated Bibliography (Assessment pts 20)submitted: 6-8 sources

    • Dec. 3rd: First Note Check

      • 3-4 Sources are identified

      • Note cards/Note taking strategies for the first three sources are completed

    • Dec. 13th,14th,15th,16th,17th: Media Center work time

      • Research

      • Read Sample IA’s

      • Write Section 2


    • Dec. 14th: Second Note Check

      • 3-4 Additional Sources are identified

      • Note cards/Note taking strategies for the additional sources are completed

    • During Holiday Break:

      • Visit Purdue’s OWL page on Chicago Manual Style of Citations

      • Revisit Section 1 over break

      • Work on Section 2: Investigation

        • Group your sources by theme,chronological order, etc.

        • Focus on answering your RQ

        • Incorporate alternative interpretations

      • Do you need more sources?

        • Continue your research if needed

      • Begin work on Section 3: Reflection

    • January 4th-January 7th: Media Center work time

    • Exam Day: Presentation of IA: 20% of semester exam
